The rug was fantastic for the first few weeks, but has now begun to shed extensively. Keeping it because I had such a hard time finding a rug this size and don't want the hassle of trying to ship it back. However, I'm worried about how it will wear over time. In the picture, the fabric that has come from the rug as well as the center of the rug is faded from the shedding.
Separately, a regular rug pad did not work with this. I almost fell multiple times even after placing a standard rug pad underneath. I had to purchase rug adhesive pads from Amazon that adhere to the bottom of the rug and the floor to hold the rug in place and prevent it from sliding around (and me subsequently falling).

I got the 9x12 and LOVE it! The rug doesn'nt match the colors in the picture. Online it appears much more colorful almost orange, gold, red & denim blues. In real life itâÂÂs much more subdued - gold, dark red & dark blues. However, I still thought it was beautiful even with the color differences so IâÂÂm keeping it. It's an excellent quality wool rug so it's very thick and plush. As expected with wool, I have vacuumed it several times to collect canisters full of debris each time, but that should get better with time. It says it ships from Texas but it shipped from India which is ok but just be aware that does require a few days extra shipping though mine still arrived in under a week. I would definitely recommend this rug to others based on cost and quality. Just be aware of the color differences!
